Cutting Table Full Modernisation
A major overhaul of the Freymatic lifting system.
- Bearing-sleeve thickness increased from 6 mm to 8 mm.
- Bearing type changed from pillow-block to 4-hole flange (superior orientation).
- Hollow box section filled with solid BDMS bar at critical stress points.
- Cross-bracing added at critical joining points.
- Front of the machine now structurally joined to the rear using M16 12.9 bolts with structural beam and plates.
- Side cam rollers and wear plates replaced with 30 mm-thick linear bearings (SHSLM).
- Structural beams welded under the main side structure, adding a further 250 mm PFC to the 100 × 4 mm SHS.
- These improvements have extended the maintenance schedule from 3-monthly to 6-monthly.

Slug Cutter Clamp
Slug Cutter Clamp Mk3.
- Linear bearings for smooth movement.
- 80 mm air cylinder delivering 200 kg of force.
- Special blade design (not shown here) that eliminates column debris.
- 12-monthly component change.
- A perfect column cut every time the clamp engages.

Slug Roller Tables
Slug column roller tables.
- Rollers keep the column straight and prevent sideways movement.
- Almost zero maintenance required — there's no way for debris to wear out the system, unlike a conveyor.
- Easy to move and lock down.
